 Hello

I'm geert and i'm From the Netherlands. I'm a AX CLUB NL driver and last week we had our own stand @ FULL SPEED (tuning show)

I've changed about everything you can think off...i've made (handmade) a front- and backbumper, badboy bonnet, air scoop, renault 19 spoiler, gt spoiler, 15inch cituning alloys, cituning exhaust, gt interior, build in a new AXTYPE dashbord, tinted windows, gt sideskirts (smooth lots a work)

I'm a student and i'dd worked about 1 year on my AX, only 1 year to go.


WHAT I WANNA DO:
* I want it to be OPC BLUE (OPEL/VAUXHALL COLOUR)
* Headlights from a ASTRA G , clear
* Lexuslights at the back, maybe costommade, hopefully i find them in a catalog...
* different back-bumper
* <<1400 gti engine, 1998, peugeot 106 >>fit in
* Fit in my alarm system whit also electric windows

@ AX_Powah: I must say your Ax looks really cool, only some small facts bother me and have to change (from my site of view)....the Rear Bumper, the colour and the Air-intake at the bonnet dosn´t fit to the car . But for the hole work that you put in your car, you get a big "RESPECT" from me, keep cool

 the colour will change... it will be blue like this one:


The air-scoop stays on The bonnet! I like it very much and in about 4 months i need it for real...when my 1400gti will be put in...

The rear-bumper will change, there will be fitted a new type of rear bumper ..and ofcourse 4 exhaust will be completed in 2 weeks...
The bumper takes lots a time so will be finished later....

I was expecting a nicer welcome but your not affraid to let your oppinion heard!

It was a nice welcome, but everybody has his own opinion about tuning.
As I already said your AX is very genuine Car. It looks great and have respect for what you did.

The thing is I see this from my point of you and I had done some things in a other way. I had already read your future-plan for the AX and I have seen that you will change the colour and te rear bumper.

the scoop is okay but i prefer these two airscoops, one at each site of the bonnet.I think Dragster got them.


I got a other question. Is everything at your car (bumper,scoop,etc.) allowed by the goverment? does it fit to the NL rules for cars?
because i think your project will be very hard to realise here in Germany.

 I like those scoops also! And i have them here at home but i don't now yet if i'm gonna use them....

The scoop isn't a problem in NL...
The rearbumper ist a problem, as long as your exhaust-gasses can go in open air whitout any problems (if you understand what i mean)

My hood (bad boy bonnet) is a problem in NL and i must change this before i go to APK (goverment-test , don't know the DEUTSCH word...)

rest is everthing good, accept my rearlights, i must change the clusters also...

the german word is TÜV for your APK

to sum it up it can be said that nearly everything at your car is illegal or is hard to legalize

when i would drive your cart in my region, i would come only 5km. Because then i got the guys in green (police) at my back and they ask me if i got papers for these tuning parts

 yes i live not i a big city so i see police maybe once a week and most of the time they drive in the opposite direction....no problemo for me

Lots of time they test me on alcohol and warnings for loud music but never had a ticket

lowering springs will also be fitted to my car, they come SONNTAG, whit the 1400gti engine, frontsprings, back-asses and other small things!!

1400gti engine
i bought a great engine, only 70.000 on the clock and build in 1998 from a 106gti, its chiptuned and should get 100 hoursepowers! In the package is also a spear engine 1400gt in parts.... I will make everthing nice and shiney so it looks great under the hood!! Pics of the engine will be posted next week!

 today i've received my new headlights! I'm gonna try to put OPEL ASTRA G headlights on my AX!

Tomorrow is sunday and than i'm gonna pickup the new engine (100HP) and more technical stuff...

 hello people!

today i cleaned the new engine and all the other parts are now ready 4 storage! I'm gonna do it really easy so most parts won't be moved a couple of months

There something wrong with my picture-uploader so you have to wait 4 the pics, i think its fixed 4 tha weekend!!

I also bought thiz week RED KONI'S ! For behind, only 50 euro, new !!!I dont have them @ home but the are coming m way soon!!

now its time for diner! Adioz my friends!

Where do you get them for 50€?

For front I already have red Konis, but at this price I could also buy some for rear.

 A member found a shop in the Netherlands , they had only 3 sets of RED KONIS so ít´s a Bargain 4 ONCE...

But 4 a good price i will sell them 2 you!

I found a way to get them for around 60¤.

And since I'm not living near netherlands this wont be worth while. (Postage and Packaging and all that stuff). But thanks anyway. Maybe there is someone living nearer to you. It's a real bargain...

 Hello DEUTSCH AXers! A new Update from AX POWAH!

Last week i bought a copple things, new front bumper, new sideskirts and a cup-diffusor (rear bumper). The skirts and cup-diffusor are new but i bought them from a friend for a very good price ...look at the picture, it isn;t original GT !!! The car will be 6 cm above the ground...every-where!!
I get the bumper next week and the diffusor this mondag! Also bought 5cm lower springs (front) for only 20 euro!!


i have to fit all a little bit but its worth it I think!!

ich kaufe mir 2 billigen auspuffblenden und schraube sie an ner wasserleitung dran ..... fertig is mein auspuff oje... und wir quälen uns mit ABEs und TüVs.... is einfach nicht gerecht

@ axpowah: if you ask me ; i dont think that your exhaust is gonna get any louder just by adding this components...

 (@ axpowah: if you ask me ; i dont think that your exhaust is gonna get any louder just by adding this components... ) i know it won't sound different but it looks nice! SOund will be there! Because there's a straight pipe whit only one middel-sound-absorber (dont now english word) and NO end absorber

i will record the sound when it's done! and this is a very good option for a dubbel echaust system!

progressiv means that he wants to buy 2 cheep muffles and connect them with water pipes voila he has got a new exausht system....

it was ironic because you exaust looks at the pics like waterpipes with to cheap muffles..

the thing is, we (the german guys and the guys from switzerland) got heavy problems to get the right ABE´s (a paper where it is writen the that a specific customs part is legal for a specific car) so we got heavy prob with the police and the Guys from TÜV and DEKRA when we change or rebuild thing at our cars

I hope u are not finished with your exhaust.
Because i'm convinced that u lost some horse-power (kw/ps)
and didn't have a good sound...

Look at this:


At your "T" that u want to build in your exhaust-system,
u have badly exhaust-gas-vibration. So that the gas can't flow easylie.
(maby it pushed back to the mainfold)...

If u have the time and capabilities u better finished the system
similarly like this:

 the exhaust isn't ready and the middel straight pipe wil be a sort off a V-shape, like your drawing but not so sharp! i had a technical education so i now what im doing...! this was just a pic to show you that i'm working on it !! The bending proces is planned 4 friday... i hope i make it in time ...i'm so bizzy whit school work!! i let you know soon but dont worry, the sound will be good!!!
